Hi everybody. Welcome to my blog where I talk about my past.
I’m talking about my past, but it really helps me with my present. I used to be quite the runner. I held records, etc. I was a good runner, but being an athlete really helps me get through what I’m going through now.
Now, did I tell you before that me and my teammates were in the Guinness Book of World Records? And it wasn’t for drinking beer. We ran across the United States. We did a relay run from LA to Maryland. Every two hours you had to run two miles and that was for two weeks. And within that two hours, you had to eat, take your turn driving the winnebego, or the back up car. So, basically, you ran two miles every hour and a half for two weeks. It was brutal. Going through something brutal like that got me ready for things like getting off a ventilator and trying to breathe room oxygen, learn how to take things one step at a time. I guess that’s everything in life, right? One step at a time.
Anyway, I’m gonna leave it at this. I’m trying to get a meeting with the Governor. It’s for safe ADA sidewalks and safety for people like me. If anyone out there knows the governor. I could use a hand.
Love, B. Nice
