Hey, Happy Thanksgiving everyone. Unfortunately, my daughter is not with me this Thanksgiving, but if she were, I would say the following:
I’d say, Sam, I used to say to my mother, oh man, I can’t do this, I can’t do that. I’m in a bad way. I can’t even move. My mom used to say, well, don’t think about what you can’t do. Think about what you CAN do. Be thankful for everything around. Count all the good things up and you’ll be pleasantly surprised at how thankful you really are. That’s what I’d say to her.
